Tips To Avoid Unnecessary Stress

Everybody feels stressed time to time in life. The difference being that some people take it more and some take it less. You may feel tensed because of hectic schedule at office. Tension may occur when your child doesn’t perform well in examination. Sometimes, tussle in relations can also be responsible for stress. I just want to state that we have innumerable situations that can be taxing for us. Can we solve the situation if we take stress?

No. Stress in fact increases the problem more rather than providing a solution to the situations. If office schedule is hectic, it will remain so. Tension about it will only add to your worries and will hamper performance as well. Thus, situations cannot be solved this way nor situations can be avoided. what we can do best  is to avoid unnecessary stress itself.


I am sharing few tips to avoid unnecessary stress:

1. Know Yourself:  Try to know your strengths, your weaknesses, your opportunities and threats. The SWOT Analysis will provide you to know a lot about yourself. On the basis of what actually you are, expectations can be set realistically. Otherwise you may tend to expect more from yourself which brings stress if expectations are not fulfilled.

2. Say ‘No’ where necessary: Learn to deny if fulfilling any condition is out of your scope. I want to cite a personal experience here. I had a friend’s marriage and my examination the same day. Since she was my best friend, I could not deny when she invited me to her marriage. But I could not attend the marriage also because of the examination. She got angry and all this created a lot of stress for me.

3. Remember we can’t make everybody happy at the same time. So decide your priorities and act accordingly.

Ignore people who stress you out: Ignore those people who transmit negative vibrations to you. There is no need to end the relationship. You can just reduce the time you spend with them.

These are very simple and easy tips to lessen stress to an extent .If you practically apply it in your life, I hope your stress level will be managed to an extent.
